Heyyyy :)

Holy crap, I come home every night exhausted from being outside all
day, pedaling my bike 20 miles a day! It's like the second I walk
through my apartment door my body shuts down. When we start
planning, for that 30 minutes sometimes I am half aware what's going
on! But I guess that's a good thing, because I don't know what I'd do
if we weren't busy all the time.

This past week has been extremely rainy here in Allen. We don't have a
car so mostly we just put on our most beat up missionary clothes and
get totally drenched in the rain! The only problem is that people
don't really like letting in 2 random white dudes who are completely
soaked to their bones from rain. So we try to set up
a lot of return appointments and tract (knock doors).

Anyways last Monday we had our investigator Jazz take us out to
dinner. We ate at Chipotle and had a great discussion and invited him
to to come to church, which he accepted to come sometime in December.
He is a really nice guy, who genuinely is curious about the church.
But he has the worst language I've ever heard outta someone haha. It's
hard teaching a lesson to him while he's always swearing and talking
about subjects we try to stay off of. But we love him, and slowly are
making progress! He's even reading the Book of Mormon!

Since transfers, we had 2 new people come into my zone. A sister and
an elder. Which makes me not the youngest anymore! It's a huge
accomplishment! Which by the way today is my 2 month mark!
Me and the new elder, elder Turnsplenty went out for exchange with
each other for over an hour while our companions did zone leader
things. I got the opportunity to teach him how to knock on people's
doors and teach lessons. Whenever I had him talk you could tell he was
nervous and stuttered a little bit which threw him off. But I made
sure he understood that I had done the exact same thing when I first
started. And now I talk to anybody and don't have a fear in the world
(watch out ladies) :)
But it was fun being able to train a new missionary, I hope that one
day I'll be able to train again!

Lastly, thanksgiving was a lot better than I expected it to be! We had
it with 2 families who were really nice and made me and Elder Hasson
feel right at home. I'm thankful to be in such a great area to start
my mission off. The whole ward is nice and the people in the area are
too. Even if they aren't interested in our church, we get people
everyday thank us for serving the lord and talking to people about
Christ.

Anyways I hope that all of y'all have a great week, I only have 22
months left, so before you know it I'll be back in Utah! Can't wait to
see ya :) stay safe everyone!
