WEEKLY REPORT (12/26/2015)
Hey y'all!
I know I've said it a lot but I'm loving my new area! It's a good mix
of country and city!
So we were planning on having a baptism on Saturday(12/24) but we had
to do it on Wednesday! Long story short the person being baptized,
Kim, wanted to admit herself to a place she could work out past abuse.
But she wanted to do it after she was baptized that way she had the
Holy Ghost. But then Wednesday night we get a call and her mom told
her if her past abuse is that bad then she would have to admit herself
that night! Her mom is pretty anti and knew that it would upset the
baptismal date Kim wanted. So me and Elder Casper talked about it and
decided we could try to organize the baptism that night. We called Kim
and she was all for it! So we started trying to organize it and
important people we needed weren't answering phone calls so it looked
like for a sec that it wasn't gonna work out. So me and Elder Casper
prayed about it and said "if this isn't your will then stop us
otherwise we're gonna do everything we can do to do this for Kim".
After that prayer miracles started to happen, things started falling
into place perfectly and we were able to baptize Kim Wednesday and we
confirmed her the same night! She's in the facility right now working
with her doctors but she has the Holy Ghost and she told us that she's
so grateful for what we did! It's the craziest baptism I've had so
far, we organized it in under 2 hours. It's amazing the power of
prayer, we know that there was no way her baptism couldn't have happened
without us consulting our Heavenly Father. I promise he's up there
listening to you!
So that was our miracle this week. Also yesterday I was able to
FaceTime my family, it was super awesome to be able to talk to them
and see how they're doing! I'm grateful for them. It's crazy cause the
next time we FaceTime Carson should have his mission call and be
heading out shortly after that!
Just wanna wish y'all a Merry Christmas! I'm grateful for all y'all! I
wish I could have sent out cards or something to everyone but it's a
tad too late. Anyways hope y'all have a Happy New Year! My next email
will be the first of 2017! Holy cow times flown!
