Tornado's or Nah?

Howdy Ya'll!

So this week has been super fun and crazy! So to start things out this week our investigator
Emmelyn was baptized!!! She's so awesome, it was amazing to see the spirit touch her through this whole process. Later that day the sisters asked us to baptize their investigators, I baptized a kid named Javin, he's the first person i personally was able to dunk! 

Also earlier this week we went to the temple as a zone! it was so cool to see everyone in the Celestial room together! It was the spiritual pump i needed for the week!

Then an amazing miracle happened outta no where, we get a call from a member in Plano who wanted to refer her friend to us. His name is Tre. He spoke with missionaries in the past but he said he wasn't mature enough at the time to take it seriously. But he's reading the BOM, and he came to church, all 3 hours! we're expecting he will get baptized in February! He's awesome. Miracles have yet to cease!

Something I find is hilarious is when people read the Book of Mormon, come to church and say their prayers they ALWAYS receive their own witness of the truthfulness of the book. So it frustrates me when people make excuses about how they didn't have time to take even 5 minutes outta their week to give it a shot. But on the flip side its the coolest thing ever when it "clicks" for an investigator and they start to recognize the spirit! This work is amazing and i'm so happy to be able to be here right now serving the Lord! If any of you have struggling testimonies right now, or have really never had one I invite you to find a quiet place, read the Book of Mormon, then pray to God, our Eternal Father, if its true. the book PROMISES if you do this with a broken heart and contrite spirit you will receive an answer from the Holy Ghost! No other book on the face of this earth has the kind of power the BOM does. Give it a shot for yourself!

P.S: we've been getting tornado warnings, the weather here is so bipolar. one day its 80 then the next day its a freaking tornado. hahah almost as bad as Utah weather! ;)
