Hello family and friend!!!
I'll try to keep this one shorter!

So Elder Larson and I have been driving down to Texas multiple times a week it feels like. I don't know how we stay under miles but the Lord provides haha.

The highlight was Elder Pearson of the Seventy came and did a mission tour!!!
I didn't realize how causal and comfortable I had gotten until he came and straightened us up a bit. If you've never heard him speak he's basically a mini Elder Holland. But it was such a privilege to hear from him and learn.
He talked a lot about aligning our will with gods will. He taught to pray, pray, pray our selves back into alignment so that we can receive more of the Holy Ghost.
One huge thing that stuck out to me personally was he said that every now and again a stake president will ask him what they should do when they're interviewing a returned missionary and they can sense that their mission didn't change them, or felt like the missionary didn't give their all during their service. Elder Pearson said the first thing that, that Stake President should do is weep...hard....
When he said that you could hear a pin drop in the chapel!
That's the last thing that I want to happen to me so with these last 7 months left i'm gonna do my best to truly give it my all! President Dalton always says "when you get comfortable, the spirit leaves". No more being comfortable!

Since we we're down in Frisco for 4 days of the week not much as able to get done in Durant. The biggest highlight was Susannah's baptism!!! She was finally able to get baptized and confirmed. The spirit was absolutely present at Susannah's baptism and she was very happy! The members pulled in clutch and made her feel at home. On Sunday after church a family invited her to eat lunch with them and play some games! It's been neat to see the members of the ward reach out and welcome her to the Durant family.

It looks like we have yet another multiple day meeting in Frisco, Tx this week so i'll let you know how those go!

Love you all and have a great week!!!

Elder Hyatt
