Revelations On Revelations On Revelations
Hello friends and family :D
This has been such a crazy week.. mostly because of all the changes that were announced in conference. But I’ll start at the beginning of the week;
We had zone conference this week! Elder Waiwaiole and I were asked to give the “doctrinal discussion” (training). We taught about the gospel of Jesus Christ and then invited the missionaries to apply it in their own lives. I hate public speaking but it was good to get out of my comfort zone. There’s a saying that says “There’s no growth in the comfort zone, and no comfort in the growth zone.” I definitely grew!
On Saturday our District leader from Durant, OK came down with his companion and conducted 2 baptismal interviews for our investigators Sean and Dustin. They both passed their interviews! This week will be interesting. In of all the baptisms I’ve ever had there always seem to be a crisis happen right before the baptism. Dang opposition in all things, haha. But everything will work out, so be on the lookout this Saturday evening for the photos on FB!
Now conference. My testimony is strong enough to know that President Nelson was the proper successor of President Monson but I wanted a firmer confirmation that he is Gods chosen Prophet. So this conference I went into it with that question, “Is he your Prophet?”... Oh my lanta the amount of spiritual experiences and confirmations that I got of that question is innumerable! I am convinced that there is no better time to be a member of this church than today! I seriously feel sorry for anyone who is actively choosing not to partake of the blessings of the restored gospel! All one needs to do is to watch conference, with an open heart, and the spirit of the Lord WILL confirm to you that this is the only true and living church on the earth and that President Russell M. Nelson is Gods chosen and ordained Prophet.
Sorry if this email is so scattered, in a hurry today, as always lol. Next week we’re running a 5k as a mission so pray for me not to die....I'm a terrible runner lol. I love being a missionary! It's sad to admit that I only have 10 weeks left. I will do what I can to make the most of the rest of my mission.
Love you all, thank you all for the prayers and support!
