 Monday:
We had a super awesome BBQ with the zone! Played some sand volleyball, pool, soccer, and emailed home. It was a way fun pday! Afterwards we went to work and started visiting people. We had some great success and found a really awesome new investigator that we're teaching again on Friday, her names Celia. After that we went and visited a 22 year old guy named Neb. He took the lessons from the YSA elders up in Allen but due to some home issues he had to move down to Plano. He's not doing to good, and has made some bad decisions lately but has a desire to fix what he's done wrong. We taught him the 10 commandments and he enjoyed the lesson a ton and felt the spirit. We talked about how baptism is also another commandment that God gave us and we invited him to be baptized and he said sure!

Tuesday:
MLC was awesome! It was hilarious because every Monday night the Zone leaders get on a call with the mission president and the assistants to talk about who was baptized and confirmed that week. Call started at 9:45 and ended at 10. Nearly right after we hung up the phone the assistants called us and asked if we could give a 25 minute training at MLC...which was 11 hours from starting...So we said sure and spent the remainder of our night preparing our training and then woke up super early the next day to finish preparing. We gave the training and it went well. After our training we started talking about this up and coming "white Christmas". Last Christmas we baptized 131 people in December and then another 70 in January. We had such great success because we started preparing months in advance so we're doing exactly that this year too. It's going to be great!

Wednesday:
Holy miracles on Wednesday. Long story short we were packed with lessons. We had 4 different members come out with us to different lessons. Each lesson went great and  members are absolutely the key to missionary work. 2 lessons we're especially great. One being with our half Muslim/half Christian investigator Zeki. We taught him the gospel of Jesus Christ and the fellowshippers we invited was perfect for him. Zeki learned a lot and wants to hear from a real life prophet & apostle. So we set up plans for Zeki to watch conference with the fellowshippers. After that got situated we invited Zeki to be baptized if he received an answer these things were true. He promptly accepted! Then later that night we were in a lesson with a guy named Joel who really wants to get baptized but has some things he needs to work through before he can. We showed up and he told us great news, can't really go into details about his situation  but basically he will be able to get baptized soon! He wanted to choose December 10th because in the past that day has always had some sort of bad thing happen so he wants to replace it with something great to remember!

Thursday:
Because we had MLC our district leader chose to wait until Thursday to have district meeting. We had a pretty big surprise when we met a new Sister missionary at discredit meeting! She was serving in the Puerto Rico  mission but because of the hurricanes and lack of water and food the church evacuated every missionary out and sent them to missions throughout the states. So the TDM now has 5 new missionaries. Each one bringing only the clothes on their backs. They had to leave everything behind in Puerto Rico. So the member's here in Dallas are helping out these new missionaries with clothes and everything else a missionary would need. Way inspiring!

Friday:
Nothing too miraculous happened Friday but we taught some lessons. Got dropped, but hey that happens....

Saturday:
CONFERENCE!!! We offered to do service for a member referral and forgot about the Saturday morning conference session. So we skipped conference to help a lady move outta her house into her apartment. We finished with just enough time to get home and watch the Saturday afternoon session. Had dinner with the Bishop, then went to priesthood session. Holy day full of inspirational counsel! We're still fixin on finishing Saturday morning so don't spoil anything, we heard a Elder Oaks threw down on the family though🔥

Sunday:
CONFERENCE...AGAIN!!! We had breakfast with the Plano stake president and our Ward mission leader, then we went to another members home to watch a session with an investigator. Right before we arrived the investigator texted us and asked if he could bring his daughter, they both came and really enjoyed it! They asked tons of great questions that we were able to answer. After the first session we did some studies then finished conference in a massage chair at the members home. Spiritually and physically satisfied✊🏿

Such a great blessing to have a prophet and apostles on the earth today. Life without such divine guidance is unimaginable to me and I can see why people are so blinded without such assistance. I invite each of you to heed to the prophetic council that we received this past General Conference!

Last news....so for whatever reason Elder Hinton and I got doubled out!!! I was only here for 6 weeks, sooo not expecting it but i guess the lord wants me somewhere else...the place i got called to is Durant, Oklahoma!!!!! Going back to Oklahoma baby! Also im training a new missionary, what the heck?!?!? Im gonna be a dad, super stoked!!!! I'll let yall know my new address when I get it. Have a great week!
