Howdy, howdy, howdy!

I hope everyone is doing jus fine! Life back in Oklahoma is finally starting to feel like normal again, and we're getting into the routine of things!

Monday: Had preparation day, we're so far away from everyone else its not worth the miles to drive down to hangout with the rest of the zone, so you better like your companion! Taught a recent convert referral from Missouri. It was really interesting and dunno if we'll go back haha.

Tuesday: We had a really good district meeting, did some relaxation exercises. Our district is like all brand new (I heard 40% of the mission has been out 6 months or less) so we're focusing on "adjusting to missionary life". A mission goal we have is to find a new investigator each day and we've been doing pretty good at achieving that. It always seems to be at 8:50-9 we find someone. Found a guy named Trey at 8:55 who was mad at god and questioning his existence. He was pondering pretty heavily about it and then we knocked on his door, tender mercy!

Wednesday: Had a pretty busy day Wednesday. The thing that stood out the most was a we taught a chick named Lynna. She's only been Christian for 4 years and has since become heavily involved in a Baptist church. She could not get over grace and how its all we need. We get that allllll the time down here. The way I look at it, if grace was ALL we needed, if it was the only thing that we needed to return to heaven then why the heck did Jesus and his apostles teach over and over again about faith, repentance, baptism and receiving the Holy Ghost? Ultimately by grace are we saved from PHYSICAL death. No works could do that. But you got to know theres a difference between immortality and eternal life. Every one will become immortal, yet not all of us will receive eternal life. Our works and obedience to the gospel principles are how we receive eternal life. But, you probably already knew that🙃

Thursday: We weekly planned which took a good majority of our time. We had some great success getting in contact with people and setting up appointments. I use to dread weekly planning but now I look forwards to it every week cause it's such a huge stress relief to have things do do!

Friday:  So Friday we had a zero mile day, which means we biked all over Durant the entire day!  Biking has become one of my most favorite things to do as weird as that sounds haha.. but anyways we had some super success. Most notably we finished a lesson we had with a lady in the morning, had some spare time and so we decided to knock some doors in the area. Knocked this one house and no one answered so we left a card. We walked down the road a little bit and Elder Taylor noticed the guy was actually in his back yard playing with his son, so we decided to go grab the card we had just left from off his door and give it to him in person. It ended up being a super good contact and we got a solid investigator out of it!

Saturday: Long story short President Dalton wants weekly exchanges in each district and zone. So each week we have to go to one of our sisters area and work it. This week we went to Bonham, Texas. Started out with doing some gnarly service with some other churches in the area. We helped clean up a grave yard and believe it or not i found some graves that had "Hyatt" on them, distant relatives prolly. Then the rest of the day we just visited a ton a people that needed a visit. Found the sisters a new investigator, another pretty solid lady!

Sunday:  again nothing too big happened today, but we were able to hand out 3 book of Mormons on one street and 2 investigators on the same road, it was on fire!

That's really my week, having a good time! I hope yall have a good week too! Love ya!
