Holy cow
This was one of the most interesting weeks I've ever had on my mission
so far. I've never had the opportunity/"pleasure" of sending another
missionary home and holy cow it made me trunky! So since we have iPads
our area books are digital, right before Elder Chancellor left he
thought he was funny and put in events like "watch movies", "hangout
with girls", "go on dates", etc.Which we didn't see until we got back
from dropping him off when we updated our area books. Me and Elder
Thomas got a good laugh outta it, I wish him luck at home hahaha.
The biggest news is last Friday we learned that since they opened up 5
new areas in east Texas where it's a lot more rural, they needed to
take some cars outta the Dallas area. So our car is gone!! :(((( I'm a
biking missionary again, throwback to last year in Allen haha. I'm
excited because we will be able to talk to a lot more people now but
now people will yell at us, throw drinks, probably nail one of us
(Elder Thomas has already been hit by a car twice) hah and I thought
Utah drivers were bad.
On the spiritual Side of things yesterday was fast and testimony
meeting and even when I was at home I never bared my testimony often
because in my home ward I can't compete with some of those people and
their testimonies and their knowledge of the gospel but I felt super
prompted to go up and testify. There was that super awkward minute of
silence where no one stands up so I decided to follow my prompting and
bore testimony. Something I've learned is sometimes you gotta do that
just for you, because it was the super spiritual boost I needed
Sunday!
Anyways it's been a slow week, we're gonna go out and tract the rest
of tonight so hopefully something fun will happen. Love y'all!
