Paris and Hugo are lit๐Ÿ˜

HELLO friends and family!!!
This has been a pretty spectacular week here in the TDM! To help
achieve our goal of 200 baptisms in April the mission put together a
document called "the iron rod". Basically what it is, is each and
every day there's a challenge that if we do will help us step by step
accomplish the 200 in April. If that makes any sense lol. But anyways
I bring this up because  one of the challenges was to get as many new
investigators as you could in one day. Me and Elder Haddock worked our
tails off and found 8 new people to teach! It was a miracle.
To catch y'all up on our most progressing investigators;
Derek. T: He's an Eternagator who knows the bible and the Book of
Mormon more than anyone I've ever met before, he a genius haha.  He
accepted to be baptized on April 15th and will be getting his
baptismal interview this week!!! Hugo, Oklahoma branch will be getting
a new member here pretty soon! :) he's so nice too, he has probably
the best piece of land in Hugo because it sits on a little "hill" and
has a pretty cool view. You can even see all the way to the  Kiamichi
"Mountains"! But anyways he says he wants to donate the property to
the church as soon as possible and possibly have their chapel built
there when the branch gets large enough!
Pedro. C: His wife has been a member her whole life and he's taken the
missionary lessons for quite some time. They recently had a cute
little baby named serenity, which from what I've heard really changed
his perspective on things. We committed him to be baptized on April
15th as well and will be having an interview this week too! He's had
baptismal dates in the past but this time around he's pumped and said
he's truly ready this time around! The Paris ward is so happy for him
& we are too. One step closer to becoming an eternal family!
It's tornado season round here! Yesterday we kept getting warned about
a tornado but the weather wasn't too bad so we kinda shrugged it off.
Well a couple hours later there was a *insert Donald Trump
impersonation* Huuuuuuge thunderstorm that lasted a couple hours! I've
never seen lightning that bad in my entire life. It would light up our
whole room for a whole second or two. We eventually fell asleep and
woke up with our roof still on the apartment so I guess there wasn't a
tornado but it was definitely a wake up call!
This week should be a grand time, we're gonna have a 3 day exchange
with our zone leaders and I'll be with Elder Nguwa, he's from the
Congo and a really funny guy!
Until next week y'all, love ya!๐Ÿ˜
