Short but sweet :p

Soooo I cant think of anything crazy or too fun that happened this week. so ill share a short miracle!
So we have a new Investigator named Robert. He's more or less dating a member of the ward who calls herself "the rebel of the ward". she's funny hahah. But anyways she told us she was dating this guy who's been asking questions about the church and so we sat down with him finally and he's actually SUPER solid! Elder Haddock and I couldn't believe it.
He gleefully accepted a Book of Mormon and said he'd read and pray about it with the member girlfriend. We taught the plan of salvation and had to explain to him about why we don't believe in the trinity. after we talked that part out he accepted it and was like "That makes a lot more sense". (I've never met a person out here who can explain the Trinity, lol) Anyways he liked the part about the 3 kingdoms and how its pretty hard to "get thrust down to Hell".
He's had a rough past but he said at the beginning of this year he's felt Christ more in his life. He said lately he's been slow to anger, and want's to get outta crime and being on the polices eyes all the time. He said whenever he meets with us he feels really good and happy.
The coolest thing he said I think though is he explained to us that he has ADHD and because of it he has to re-read and be taught very slowly until he finally understands something. But he said with us whenever we teach him something it just automatically sticks with him and he understands it the very first time we explain it! he said that's never happened before in his entire life! we're stoked to see him progress in the future :)
Quick other miracle; We visit a semi less active member every Sunday evening at his work. he's the manager of the Hampton Inn and he has such a strong testimony! we'll be sitting down reading the Book of Mormon with him and he'll stop reading and invite whoever walks by to sit down and read with us, he's such a member missionary! But anyways we were having our weekly lesson and this 20ish year old girl walks up to us and says "do ya'll have any pamphlets'?". I was stunned, I responded "like what kind of pamphlets you looking for?" she said, "whatever you got, I've seen missionaries knocking on doors before and I've always been curious to see what they have to say."
well I had just freshly ran outta pamphlets' and I ran to our car outside the Hotel and quickly grabbed a restoration & plan of salvation pamphlet, so hopefully she can read those and feel the spirit! she lives in Texarkana which is barely outta our mission but we gave her our number and told her if she had any further questions to give us a call and that we would be able to help her get in contact with her missionaries! It was a testimony builder to me to see that whether we know it or not people are watching us and what we do. A lot of times people are honestly curious but they're afraid to approach us. that's why its so important to talk with everyone, we can't assume someone's not interested by the way they look.
But this weeks been pretty good and I'm excited to see what this week has to offer!
love and miss ya'll!!!

Elder Hyatt
