Christmas and New Year!
Hello family and friends!
Just so you know, I don't have that much time today so this'll
probably be shorter.
Anyways last week was super good! It's kinda sorta nice being with a
companion you've already served with cause then you already know what
annoys them and everything else like that so there's not really an
awkward phase in there haha.
Also got to skype the family, that was really nice! Got it to where it
was a 3-way video call with me, my parents, and Carson! It was great
to hear from all of them! Sounds like for the most part things are
same old same old!
WE GOT SNOWED IN!!!!
Haha it was freaking cold and basically over Saturday night it rained
freezing rain and even snowed a little bit! Ill send some photos. But
it snowed enough to the point where we had to cancel both our wards!!
Our mission sent out an email that if it snowed/ice rained in your
area to stay inside. So we were forced to stay inside alllll day. It
may sound silly but we recently moved into our apartment so there
wasn't any wifi so we prayed that one of our neighbors would be kind
enough to let us borrow their wifi. We left the apartment and 10
minutes later we talked to our neighbor who eventually was totally
cool with us using his wifi. So we then walked back into our warm
apartment and and spent the ENTIRE day working on facebook. It was
awesome to find so many people who wanted to hear the gospel. We even
found a member who had been meaning to callus to tell us that his
grandson had recently been asking a lot of questions about the church
and wanted to take the missionary lessons and be baptized!!! Were
teaching him this Wednesday. So we were able to turn a potentially
wasted day into a very productive one. Social media can have a good
use!!!
So that was more or less our miracle this week. Gotta go but thank
you so much for all the love and support! Love yall!
